I'm a 33 year old part-time student of science, and I have always enjoyed working with people of all ages in various settings. I am creative and knowledgeable, with a broad range of interests, and I love helping children to learn through play and through interaction with the environment. My main interests are with nature, and I also enjoy making things, and playing music. I have a Foundation Degree in Art and Design, and an active participant in a number of community art projects in Macclesfield. I have also recently become a voluteer with the Cheshire Wildlife Trust.
I am an OFSTED registered child carer with a pediatric first-aid certificate, and I have life-long experience of child-care, given that I have a number of foster siblings, and that I also have been working with children of various needs in both care and education settings for over 12 years.

I work in education usually, and usually receive higher rates of pay. For my previous job working as a home child carer, I received £11 per hour. I have over 10 years of working with children and adults of various needs, particularly for those with special needs, such as autism and epilepsy, and I have a lot of experience working with children with challenging behaviour. Much of my experience is in mainstream and special education, and I have assisted in helping at all levels of primary and secondary education. I am an OFSTED registered child carer, and I have a current certificate in pediatric first aid.
Overall, I am one for engaging, educating and interacting, and I tend to encourage the children I work with to be active, and to learn through play.
