My name is Petya. I am originally from Bulgaria and nearly 3 years live in UK. I am 34 years old mother of a 11 year old daughter.
I am a presentable, energetic and confident individual. It has been a dream of mine since I was very young to work with children, providing care, support and assisting with their development. I thrive on change and taking on new challenges and can easily adapt to any new task. I am caring, compassionate, considerate and keen to learn and develop new skills in a supportive role. I am optimistic and conscientious with a strong work ethic. I possess excellent customer service skills and I am looking forward to working in an understanding and compassionate environment. Having studied Social Work in Bulgaria I feel I have the required skills and experience for this position.
In my previous work history as a social worker at Child Protection Department in Bulgaria I worked with 0-18 years old. I was responsible for researching and gathering information about children from the family, school, nursery etc. and providing information on child protection. I completed child support plans and completed reports, statements and proposals for court and administrative bodies.
Now I have moved to the UK I want to continue in this field, working with children and their family.
I love cycling, running, I love the sea, fresh air, the forests. I love playing different games out like basketball, badminton, table tennis. Also I love playing games at home with my dauhter - ludo, monopoly, dixit. I love reading. I love music, love dancing, arts and crafts.
