My name is Molly Gray, I am 20 years old and I am currently a full time student at Kingston University studying for my BA Hons in Fashion Design with a desire to specialise in textiles and childrenswear.
I am a creative, enthusiastic person with a kind approach to learning and care giving.
As the eldest of five children I was taking on the role of babysitter from a very young age. At the age of 15 I was invited to travel to New Zealand for a month with a family member to assist her with the children (3 months and two 19month old twins). Whilst I was there I was responsible for feeds during the day, entertainment and supporting the family member with chores and light manual work.
Throughout high school I volunteered at a day care centre for children from the ages of 4-14 and assisted with playtime, meal breaks and organisation and creating innovative and exciting ways of learning about the subjects relevant to their age group.
Whilst I have little professional experience with childcare, I truly believe that my passion for learning, caring and teaching is so prolific that I am more than qualified for the job.
I am a keen cyclist and jogger and enjoy nothing more than the outdoors and having fun in the sunshine, this is something that I hope would be worked into my care giving and a quality that I would enjoy sharing with those I was looking after.
