Emily, baby-sitter à Sinton green

I originally grew passionate about childcare when I was in school myself. I enjoyed pretending to teach when at home using my flip-chart and teddies as children!
This grew when I took part in a weeks work experience in Year 10 where I went to a Primary School. I carried on volunteering at this school through my first year A-Levels but then decided I wanted to change to study Childcare at College. This was a 2 year course where I got further experiences in Primary Schools, as well as Nursery and Childminding.
I then finished my studies at the University of Worcester where I gained my Teaching Qualification.
During University, I spent two summers in France as an Au Pair looking after 3 boys - 18 months, 7 years and 15 years. I looked after the boys 6 out of 7 days; cooking for them, playing with them, taking them on day-trips as well as light house work to help the parents.

After University I worked for a family in Worcestershire as a Nanny for their 3-year-old twins. Although I thoroughly enjoyed this job, things did not work out so I decided to leave.

Although I have a serious passion for teaching and childcare, I have decided to not go into a full-time position so I can focus on expanding my personal life experiences!

To keep my love growing, I wish to take part-time work in babysitting/Nannying.

I am a very caring person who believes creating strong relationships with both children and their parents is vital. I enjoy spending time with children which has stemmed from having Nieces and Nephews in my family for 13 years now!
I believe I am firm with children but also fair, I pride myself on my behaviour management techniques. I am happy to cook and clean to help the family as well as arrange activities for the children after school, including games and homework!
