Hello my name is Jade
I have grown up around children myself as we have a big family, ever since I have wanted to work with children.
I then followed my dreams and did some work experience in a primary school which I loved, when my work experience was up I then decided when I left school I was going to further my training and apply for an apprenticeship in a nursery which I absolutely adore. I love watching the children grow up and move up into the bigger rooms.
I am always willing to help the children without any moaning as I want their childhood to be the best and hope they develop as well as they need to.
I have worked with children for nearly 2 years now. I have mainly worked with children ranging from 0-3 years. I have done allot of focussed activities with the children to help there development grow and their language to become stronger.
I have many qualities but I believe the main ones are good listening skills even though you cannot understand children who's speech hasn't come on yet its still good to listen to them and respond. It is also important to listen to the parents wishes and commands as children may have set times to do things and need to be in bed for a certain time.
When doing this I also show my communication skills which I believe are very important when working with children, one simple listening or communication mistake can cause allot of trouble so this is the most important skill.
