Angharad, babysitter - LL14 Chirk

Hello,
My name is Angharad and I am 22, I enjoy being around children and it is my career goal to work with children; I am currently training to be a primary teacher.
I would prefer to look after younger children because I have more experience with them.
I have had experience with my young cousins who, when I began looking after them, we're just 1 and 2. I enjoyed watching them daily for long periods of time - up to 6/7 hours a day. I made sure they were well fed, giving them fruit and vegetables where possible. I do not tolerate miss behaving, I have the 'naughty step' method and this worked with me when looking after my cousins.
When looking after children I try to engage in activities as much as possible; playing games such as drawing, painting, reading, counting and play dough (I have made play dough before with my friend's child whom I watched when he was at work).
I have experience with autistic children, my friend's son has autism and has difficulties talking, I used to watch him during the summer holidays and I was able to control most of his outburst.
I hope to give families the extra help and support they need.
