Lynn, baby-sitter - SN8 Avebury

Hi, my name is Lynn, I am a mum of three wonderful grown up children and a grandma to two. I am nanny Lynn to my grandson and grand daughter. I have worked in healthcare for approximately eighteen years. This has been in different areas i.e Carer, support and hospitals. I have worked in a very busy delivery unit assisting the midwives. So I'v had lots to do with new born babies, their parents and other family members. In the past I was a nanny/mothers help to a couple with a seven year old, four year old, two year old and a new born. I am a very kind, caring lady. Have lots of patients, am Reliable and trustworthy. My last job was a one to one support worker. I looked after a young lady with autism and several other health issues. I would meet her at a day centre, then we would either join in activites in the centre or go out for the day, by car or train. I accompanied her to college twice a week. Assist with choosing healthy meals, all personal care. Escort to hospital appointments. And any other activity required. We did all sorts. Ice skating, bowling, picnics, Plus many more. I kept daily records. Updated care plans, Kept records of anything purchased etc. I found this a very rewarding job. I only left this job because I returned to Wiltshire. This job was in Birmingham. I trained as an Aromatherapist. This is one of my interests. I also love reading. I really love reading to my grandchildren and listening to them read. I enjoy doing craft, Colouring, Playing old fashioned board games. My grandson and I play Domino's. It helps with his counting as well. I do not have any formal qualifications in childcare. But feel with all my experience i have gained over the years with my children, their families and other children, you would find me an asset. Thank you.
