Paola, baby-sitter - YO1 York

Hello there!
My name is Paola and I am a first year, going into second year, Sociology student from Italy. I am planning to finish my university degree here in York. I love children as I grew up in a big italian family. I see myself as a responsible young woman since I live by myself and I have always looked after my younger brother and my younger cousins. I am looking for an occasional job starting from September during the week but occasionally during weekends aswell. My qualities as a child carer would be to involve the child in as many fun but also educational activities as possible, from doing homeworks, reading and playing games to outdoor activities which, for me, are very important for a child. If the family is interested I am also willing to teach the child a new language since I speak Italian and German well. I had a brief but amazing experience with a volunteering action, which I will continue doing when I will be back in York, where I had to look after children and I really enjoyed spending time with the latter. I am really looking forward to start this working experience and hope to help out as much as I can.
