Shenaz, babysitting - 75005 Paris 5ème arrondissement

I have worked on developing many projects with a focus on young people centred approach around learning and development within an arts context over the last 15 years in different settings. I also have an abundance of experience looking after and babysitting friends children, my own brothers and cousins as we were all growing up too.

I am patient and have a good understanding of children's needs and appreciate what they bring in terms of perspectives and questions. I enjoy that most. Looking at the world again through their eyes and seeing things with a different kind of precision.

I also taught young people in schools for one year in Japan, in 1999, before going on to live in Greece, Israel and England.

I have mixed heritage, both Indian and English, I moved to Portugal when I was 12 and did all of my secondary education there in Portuguese schools.

I would be best suited to a role where I am picking children up from school and taking care of them until the parents are back and filling time with the following activities speaking, reading, drawing, playing, singing, going to exhibitions and having fun.

I do not want the responsibilities cleaning, grocery shopping and cooking, giving them a bath, these are better suited to the role of an housekeeper who's role it is to be responsible for this. I will however, of course, ensure that they eat meals already prepared by the household.
