Charlotte, babysitting - CH4 Broughton

Hello, my name is Charlotte. I am 29 years old and have been working within the childcare sector for 10 years. I am enthusiastic, committed and caring and have experience with children from birth to five.

I started as an apprentice at a local nursery, whilst gaining my GNVQ level2 qualification in childcare. I was then employed by the nursery, and I went on to complete my GNVQ level 3. I progressed within the setting from nursery nurse to team leader - being responsible for both a team of children and other staff members. In 2009, I began my Foundation degree in Early years care and education, and went on to gain a BA Honours Degree at the University of Chester. At the same time I also completed my Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).

I have full knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and how to help individual children to fully reach their potential. During my time at the nursery, I also updated my knowledge by attending various courses and training sessions, such as Developing Personal and Emotional development in Children and learning Makaton/sign language, along with many others. I also hold relevant certificates in First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding.

I also have two little boys and therefore I am looking for part time work within the local area. Thank you, Charlotte.
