Shauna, babysitting à Morpeth

Hello, my name is Shauna, I am 57 years young, a mother and Grandmother I have over 20 years of teaching experience across the Primary School age range. My background is as a mother of three and a grandmother to one as well as having been a Primary school teacher for over 20 years. I enjoy messy activities; paint, clay, mud and water play as well as active adventures outdoors; finding mini-beasts , jumping in puddles, building dens, searching for shells on the beach, paddling in the waves, long walks and I love to curl up with a good story book or build castles and lands of make believe with bricks and cushions and soft toys. I believe in discipline based on a mutual respect and clear explanations as to expectations of behaviour. I treat each child as an individual and follow the lead as to types of play needed to ensure each reaches full potential. My routines are flexible to allow the children to express themselves although I do believe in a regular bedtime hour and routine as well as regular mealtimes. I am happy to make meals for the children and to undertake light household duties as long as these don't interfere with the the time I give to the children themselves.
