My name is Louise and I am 33 years old. I have 2 beautiful children of my own. My first is 6 and my youngest is 3. After my youngest started Pre-School in September I suddenly found I had all this spare time on my hands and as much as I'd love to have her with me at home all the time I know it's important for her to have some independence and make some new friends before starting school in September. I thought to look at getting a part time job for a couple of days in the week and a Mothers Help position seemed the most obvious choice for me as I can use my skills and knowledge which I have not only from being a mum and raising two little ones myself, but also from working with children in a nursery setting, out of school club and school from the ages 0-14years for over 15 years. I consider myself to be a very creative person so there is always time for messy play in our house. From playing with jelly and spaghetti to gloop and painting. I love outdoor play and find that really simple ideas are the ones that little ones love the most. Give them a bucket of water and a paintbrush and they can pretend to paint the fence, chalk drawings on the floor are great fun and treasure hunts in the sandpit too. If you are after someone who will bring fresh and exciting play opportunities to keep your little one entertained and the peace of mind that they will be cared and looked after then that's me.

After researching similar jobs I found that this was the minimum pay and the maximum was £12 so felt it was fair to go for the above price.
