John, babysitting à Wishaw

I am 56 years old and presently studying a NQ L6 Early Education and Childcare course at New College Lanarkshire in Motherwell. When this is finished I start an HNC Childcare course in August. I attend college for three days a week and two days practical experience at a local primary school nursery. I have to do planned activities every week with the children and I am thoroughly enjoying working with the children. In my last job I worked at an old peoples home for three and a half years as a part time activity co-ordinator for people with dementia, so i have extensive experience. In this role I had to organise games for the residents and took the residents in the homes minibus to local parks and church visits and to the Glasgow transport museum. I enjoy making my own home made wine and going on holiday.
