Katherine, babysitting - NN7 Grendon

Hello, I'm Katherine and I'm a qualified nursery nurse and a mum to my two wonderful children who are 5 and 3 years old. I'm also married and we live in a quiet village in Northampton along with our two cats.
I qualified 13 years ago and in that time I have worked in a variety of different settings which has given me the opportunity to gain many different skills and experience. I have worked in a nursery looking after babies from 3 months, and toddlers aged 1-4 years. For two years I worked on labour ward in theatre and on the ward where I cared for some of the new born babies and helped new mums with general care and with both breast and bottle feeding. I love working with children with additional needs and have 5+ years of experience of working closely with families and accessing children's development. I also helped run family support groups and I am a trained portage visitor. I'm currently running my own child based business for pre-school children.
I am a very creative and caring person. I love getting stuck into messy play and I am always thinking up the next activity to do with my children.I enjoy exploring the out doors. I am very hardworking and a great listener.
