Tiriscia, babysitting à Paris 4ème arrondissement

Hello! My name is Tiriscia I am 21 years old and a student currently living in Paris. I am from Antigua in the Caribbean but have been living in Paris for the last year. I am interested in childcare after school hours.

I am a very friendly and happy person. I have always enjoyed working with children and growing up with a younger sibling has really sparked my interest in child care.

However, I only began real babysitting at about the age of 18, where I looked after kids of many different ages. Alongside babysitting I have done two summer camps one for one week and the other for two weeks, where I organised many different activities and games for the children from 9am to 4pm. These experiences have really developed my love for kids, and allowed me to develop the necessary skills to be able to take care of children with varying ages.

I started my first baby sitting job for a woman named Sue while I was living in Antigua, her daughter was about 7 years old and I began looking after her mostly at nights if her mother had to go out. I played games with her, did work if necessary and then put her to bed most nights. This job lasted on and off until I moved to Paris.

This then lead me into many other babysitting jobs around my neighbourhood involving me taking care of children both male and female the youngest being 5 and the eldest 10. I continued looking after children mostly in the evenings if the parents had to go out and in some cases even stayed with the children for a night if need be, allowing me to develop skills in cooking as well.

One job in particular that really helped me to develop in childcare was the care of a young boy named Sam who was six years old and suffered from mild autism. Sam was a fantastic little boy and I looked after him in the day and in the night, and I also assisted him with homework.

My Previous year in Paris I worked for the speaking agency where i looked after three children between the ages of 4 and 6. Having some experience with a french agency has given me some good experience already for working with Parisian families!
