Amanda, babysitting à Samatan

Bonjour!
Je m'appelle Amanda et je suis une etudiante americaine nouvelle sur Lyon. Je veux maitriser le francais pendant cette annee scolaire.

I am attending university in Lyon for the year, so I am typically busy during the day, but usually free weeknights and most week-end nights, as well. I speak some French, but my maternal language is English.

I have been babysitting and nannying since I was fourteen; I have had three families in particular whom I have spent many years with, and their children ranged in age from three weeks to fourteen years and almost every age in between; I am very comfortable with small infants as well as adolescents and can handle several children at once - one family I nannied for had only two kids, while another had five.
During my time with these families, my responsibilities often included cooking, school pick-up and general driving, playing games, changing diapers, administering medicine, caring for sick children, helping with homework, and staying with the children overnight when necessary.

I am searching to work for a family who either needs a part-time consistent nanny, and/or an occasional babysitter. As I said, most of my evenings are free, and depending on my class schedule for the day, I have a few open afternoons during the week. I will gladly do overnights or full week-ends, as well.
Additionally, I will be staying in France over Christmas vacation, so I will be available during most of this time.

I am more than happy to provide my references upon request, just be aware that they will come in English, as none of my previous employers speak French.
