Aisling, babysitter à Madrid

Hello families!

My name is Aisling, I'm a 24 year old girl from the United States. I have been living in Madrid for almost three years now, my first full year I worked as a live in au-pair with a wonderful family! These last two years I have transitioned into working as an English Language Assistant in a private British School here in Madrid!

My experience with kids goes way back - I am the eldest sister of my two young sisters whom I spent a lot of time taking care of while I was growing up! As a teenager, I would babysit the neighborhood kids and as a college student I worked as a volunteer with young children in my local community center's after school program!

During my time in university, where I graduated on the Dean's list with a Degree in Psychology and History, I also worked part time as a Montessori School teacher!

I definitely have been influenced by my time in Montessori, as I believe kids should be encouraged to make their own discoveries and to explore the world around them in search of knowledge.

My experience working with kids in Spain has been amazing! I love the culture and the way of life here, as well as the warm and playful spirit of the Spanish people I have met.

I would love to find a part time position as a live out au pair or giving private lessons! Being able to build a good relationship with the kids and family is very important, and I believe such relationships also kids to learn English much quicker.
