Dear my future host family,

How are you today? I wish I could write a letter to you in Spain, but it seem to be impossible for me now so I write it in English to tell you about myself.I’m very happy to be an Aupair in your family.And now, I will introduce myself to you so you can better understand about me. I will become your adopted child and I hope for your help during this time!

My name is Dinh Thao Hien. I’m 19 years old and I’m now a student in Vietnam National University. I grew up in a simple family with my father, he works as a doctor in our district hospital, my mother is a high school teacher. I have a older sister, her name is Quynh Anh, she works in FLC Group – the biggest construction company in Vietnam. I had a sweet and happy childhood with my family and my friends in our country with many games like soccer, play dolls, swim in the river and many interssant other things.My parents is always great, they taught me lifestyles when I was a very little girl, they help me to study and everywhere and everytime I need, they always help me.

That has formed in me my personal characcters. I have many hobbies, but I like Pop , EDM music and watching football the best. I have a list of my favorite songs to listen in spare time. There are many famous songs in the world in this list like Shape Of You, My Love, Animals, As long as you love me……….. and some Spain songs. I feel them are very great and my favorite Spanish singer is Edurne Garcias. I guess you can know her because she is very famous in Spain. I also really like Spain football but my favorite team is Arsenal – a football team form United Kingdom. But I feel I really like Barcelona FC, Real Madrid FC, Atletico Madrid FC, Sevilla FC….. so I always watching La Liga.

Sometimes I come to my uncle’s house to play with their 7th months years old child. This child is very lovely, his name is Khoa and he has a white skin and a round face. When my uncle and my aunt weren’t at home, they will took him to me so I can take and play with him all day long. My most impressive anniversary was last summer, after I finished my high school. Me and some of my close friends held a camping program for children from 6 to 12 years old to exchange and make friend with each others. During this time, in the morning, we helped them to study with some subject like Literature, Match and Geography. In every afternoon, we took them to go around our town by bicycles so that they can feel comfortable with fresh air. The most important program was in the evening. After dinner, we held a music program for them so they can show their talent through many great and lovely performances like sing, dance and act. Through this program, we discovered many new talent so we can help them to improve their talent. I was taught a 11 years old child to sing. Her name is Ha Linh. I can also sing good so in free time, Linh and me usually spent time to sing together.Through this program, I can learn how to play with children and more confident about myself.

With a little experience there, I want to join in Aupair program. I want to understand more about children’s psychology, become more mature so I will have a great opportunity to live and study in Spain. I had always been learning Spanish culture and countryside since I was a child. I feel Spain’s culture is very diversity, there is a perfect mixture of Western culture and some South America culture. Spanish is very hospitallly and friendly, they always be willing to help each other although not familiar. I believe you are the same like that. If I can be a member of your family, I hope you and me can become closer and help each other in daily life, I may be unfamiliar and hard to adjust in Spainish at the first time, but I believe with with your help, I can live good in your family and play good with your children. Why? Do you know? Because I love children, I love them and want to play with them all my time and with every experience I have. If you want, I can introduce you about Asia culture so we can exchange many things in life. Thank you very much for accepting me!
