My name is Kristina Michelle , but I prefer people to call me by my nickname – Nikkah. I am a 33-year-old female from the Pearl of the Orient Seas – none other than the Philippines. Just like any other human who has the hunger to explore the world and make a difference, brought me to travel and live in Paris, France.

I have been in the teaching profession for fourteen years. The age range of my students start from 5 to 40. I have taught regular, gifted, talented, and special learners.

When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both informal and formal contexts. I have first-degree nephews and nieces, which my cousins prefer to entrust them all to me whenever they have an errand to do because their children love and enjoy spending time with me – labeling me as their favorite auntie. During child care, I usually play with my nephews and nieces; keep them and their things tidy and clean; prepare their food; assist them when eating; help them do their homework; put them to sleep; bring them to the park or playground; and keep them entertained by reading stories and role playing. Personally, I am health-conscious and a non-smoker. I am hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy. I have a genuine interest in the well-being of children; I love interacting and playing with them. I do not easily tire or stress out as I am very patient with kids.

As far as formal child care experience is concerned, I give my learners directions and supervise them in the class to ensure that they are not engaging in unsafe behavior. I always treat them like my own children. While instructing, I observe them closely to ensure that they do the given task. I also integrate teaching them the basic elements of reading, writing, and mathematics. Aside from these, I help them develop an appreciation for art and music; inculcate to their minds the importance of social skills through play; and teach the relevance of manners through fables, videos, and stories. I maintain a happy and positive disposition in life coupled with kindness, so that learners will feel emotionally safe whenever they are with me.

The possibility of living in Paris is quite exciting for me. I have considerable experience in living abroad and taking care of children. I respect the household rules, and I am considerate of a family's privacy. I speak good English and basic French (beginner level); I am generally cheerful and easy to be with.

I am looking for a stay out arrangement with a family, that would be happy to have me work for them for years, willing to provide a work contract for me along with its benefits/other documentations such as fiche de paie (pay slip), aide medicale (medical aid), and securite sociale (social security). I would also prefer looking after children aged between 3 to 11 years.
