Présentation
We are a bilingual couple (American and French) with two daughters (3 years old and 1.5 years old) seeking a full-time Gouvernante (35 hours per week). The position involves managing both the household and the children. Both children attend school and daycare and need to be picked up in the evening.
Schedule:
• Monday: 1 pm - 7 pm
• Tuesday: 2 pm - 7 pm
• Wednesday: 1 pm - 7 pm
• Thursday: 2 pm - 7 pm
• Friday: 1 pm - 7 pm
• Saturday: 9 pm - 1 pm
Task Split:
• Childcare: 12 hours
• Grocery shopping and cooking: 8 hours
• Cleaning and plant watering: 7 hours
• Laundry (hanging clothes and linens, ironing, tidying): 5 hours
• Normandy: 3 hours
• Total: 35 hours/week
Job Location: 6th arrondissement of Paris
The job entails going to Normandy one weekend every two months and spending three holiday weeks there annually (during summer, Toussaint, and February). Sunday hours pay an extra 25%. Travel expenses, meals, and a private room with a bathroom are provided.
Rate:
• 10, 45 euros / hour net, including 10% CP
• 13, 38 euros / hour brut, including 10% CP
• We cover 70% of your Navigo pass per month, i.e. 60.50 euros.
