Lucy, garde enfant à Kidderminster DY10

Hello I'm Lucy Reed, I'm 17 and I'm currently studying for my A levels at Baxter College. I achieved 10 A* to C grade GCSEs last August including Maths and English. Outside of school I enjoy going to the gym and until April 2016 I had grown up around horses and have worked and ridden with them since the age of around 7. Working with horses has made me able to communicate and speak to people of all ages and approach new and changing situations all the time. I currently have a job as a venues Assistant at Spring Grove House where I provide silver service waitressing and other duties such as welcoming guests and preparing venues. This again has made me able to tackle situations easily. In 2013 I gained a 'Heart Start' first aid award and then in 2014 I completed my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award in which I volunteered as a riding school assistant for 6 months.

Since I was 12 up until the start of 2016 my mum worked as a children's nurse and was therefore committed to working shift hours. I have had the responsibility of looking after my sister, who is 4 years younger than me, which included putting her to bed , playing games, getting any food / snacks and making sure she was happy and okay. I feel this has made me a much more independent person and aware of how important it is to make sure children are happy and entertained when their parents are away. I'm a positive, friendly and helpful individual who would be happy taking on baby sitting tasks.
