Glenda, garde enfant à Scarborough

Hello,
My name is Glenda, I am a mature lady who is honest and very experienced in the field of childcare. I have a BTEC advanced diploma in childcare. Before I made the best decision to move to Scarborough, I was a highly respected and well loved Nursery Nurse at a private day nursery in which I spent 18 years of my life there providing high class care for children of all ages. I spent many years there as I was well liked and trusted by the parents, children and my colleagues, I was regarded as one of the best Nursery Nurses I was given many responsibilities including organising and planning activities and making sure that every child's needs where met. I have knowledge of the Early years foundation stage, I enjoyed every moment and would still be there if I hadn't made the brave move to Scarborough. I am a mother of three amazing beautiful children, who are all grown up and doing well with their lives. Whilst I was raising my three children ( which I am incredibly proud of ) I worked at a primary school as a lunch time supervisor, I also volunteered at the school, participating in a variety of roles which helped the school and the children's activities. I also worked with children with special needs, helping them with school work and general day to day school activities. As you can see I am a very experienced in child care, I feel as if it is an important part of my life I have many qualities to continue in this field as I have been doing it most of my life. When I came to Scarborough I had to take a job in retail, I feel that a part of me is missing as all my life I have worked with children and I would be over the moon to get back to child care then I would feel complete again.
