Emma, garde d’enfant - BA2 Bathampton

My name is Emma and I am a hard-working, thoughtful and considerate 21 year-old student in Bath studying Creative Writing and looking for a part-time job to support myself as a student.

As my course is mainly comprised of coursework, I am fairly available during the week. However my schedule operates on an A week/B week system, meaning I have Wednesday off this week (A week), and then not next week (B week).
I take all my responsibilities very seriously, University work included, but, if you choose to hire me, this will also transfer over to working for you and I will be completely honest about my availability and fully committed to both you and the care of your child.

I have cared for the children of family friends and my own brother growing up. I have a Duke of Edinburgh bronze award and I have also worked as both an Exams Invigilator in a secondary school, helping struggling children with reading and writing, and as a volunteer at a group for children with Down's Syndrome.

In both of these jobs, I loved the feeling I had when I felt as though I had helped a group of children in some way. However, the best part was definitely when I managed to form a special connection with an individual child.

My biggest passions are playing the piano, which I have played for 15 years, reading and writing.
