Responsibilities
At the moment I am a room supervisor with additional responsibility as a training "ofstead support worker". I have contributed the nursery obtaing outstanding in all areas, I have also stepped in from time to time as assistant deputy manage, I aim to provide high standards of quality within the Nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children. I would Ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand and when necessary follow safeguarding.

To undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness
throughout the nursery not just the rooms we are in and to help we're needed.
And to promote and facilitate partnership with parents/careers and other family members

Accomplishments
When I began working at woodlands park day nursery in April 2014 myself and colleagues began the initial set up of our room (baby 1 / 2) this included room layout, files setup , SEF and planning. Working from my own initiative I photo copied and laminated ' the characteristics of effective learning' , nappy changing policy , sleep chart , sleep procedures and milk kitchen procedures as I felt these were important for us to see at all times.

In October 2014 I showed I work well under pressure during a practise ofstead and gained great feedback from the inspector , I showed confidence and spoke on my own initiative about the structor of the room, settling children procedure and planning ect.

I always stay behind if needed to help a colleague clean, tidy and check all windows ( not just the room I am in but most in the area).
I am loyal and reliable as Iv shown when ofstead have been due, I offered my services to assist in any way possible even during maternity leave.
And finally before leaving for my maternity leave I made it my priority to help my manager an other colleagues by making sure all SEF , planning and data ( room routine, child routine and charts) were up to date.

I assisted a new member of staff and shown her how to set up/close down rooms , milk kitchen, change nappies and discussed children's files ect

In April 2015 I became room supervisor for the baby-room continuing high standard, area of provisions , action plans, SEF file day to day running of the room / milk kitchen and over seeing staff and file , maintains health and safety and safe guarding , high quality of care
