Lucy, garde d’enfant - DA15 Bexley

Hello :) my name is Lucy, I'm 23 years old and am looking to start a role as a nanny.

I became and auntie at 9 years old and since then I have always wanted to be a mother! As times are tough I am not in the right financial position to start a family just yet! So instead of letting my maternal instincts go to waste I thought why not work with children :) I have always had a brilliant understanding with children and a lot of patience.

I studied health and social care in college and in school which covered both adult and child care, at that time I wasn't sure which line of care I wanted to get into.

At this moment I have been working in an elderly care home. But my dream job would be to work with children of all ages. I am a very bubbly and fun person who will go out of the way to make sure anyone in my care gets the respect and the right care they deserve to have.

I have organised days out with my nieces and nephews and activities as a child's mind needs to be stimulated. Activities such as; water play, colour play, outside play (rain or shine!). Obviously depending on the age of the child excises differ.

Being around my nieces and nephews have really opened my eyes to really want to start a career in childcare. I am a trustworthy empathetic individual and would love to be considered to work with your family :)
