I am a mother of three and grandmother to four children. My professional life has been that of a manager in a shop of a chain of shops, co-owned a catering business, registered childminder and a room leader in a nursery setting.
I have over 20years professional experience of working with children. I have an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, its implementation and usage in both home and a nursery setting. I am able to set and introduce age appropriate activities taking from the individual child's lead thus helping to scaffold their learning which enables them to grow emotionally, holistically, mentally and physically.
I am empathetic, patient and understanding and my studying of counselling give me more grounding to work with children and also in partnership with parents.
