I am a single parent of a two year old boy. I am looking for a position that will allow me to be with my son as much as possible without compromising working. I studied childcare for GCSE with the intention of pursuing this as a career however I chose to work in the fashion industry for many years before having my son. Ultimately I would like to pursue a career in children's nursing however while my son is so young I feel this kind of postion could work very well. I can be flexible with days and duties. My son is very sociable and loves the company of other children. I like to encourage my son to read books, drawing, learning numbers and letters etc and to be active outdoors therefore I could incorporate that into my care for additional children. I would like to work for a family who are on a similar page however I can adapt to specific needs also.
