Ruth, garde enfant à Barrie south

I am a currently single mature older person with a medical background and training in food and nutrition. I love children and have worked with them in various capacities in their homes with childcare as well as with different church and community organizations. I currently volunteer weekly with a Kids Klub for community children in Barrie.
I do not have any formal training in childcare except the medical training in my college courses and training provided by the institutions I have worked and volunteered for. I especially enjoy babies and younger children and have proven skills in their care and how to occupy them with songs and activities. However I have worked with all age groups including teens. Even though I don't have children of my own I have been an aunty to 9 nieces and nephews as well as godmother to 6 others. Most are grown up now but we still share special memories and times together,
I enjoy music, singing and doing crafty activities as well as swimming. Baking is a special passion as well.
I would be interested in providing care for children and doing general household tasks and some cooking. I own my own car and would have no problems with transportation. I have also received a recent police check for the care of this nature.
