Kay, garde enfant à Basingstoke

My name is Kay , I am 21 years old and have 5 years of childcare experience. I have looked after children right from birth to 5 years with some experience with children aged 5-12 within an after school club.
I am currently studying to become a Early Years Practitioner allowing me to work with and even become teacher within Early Years. I love to learn and i'm really enjoying discussing, presenting and learning new information all the time.

I am enthusiastic and confident with my work and during my time in Early Years have offered over 100 exciting and engaging learning opportunities through activities designed to suit the needs of each individual child. I have a deep understanding of the Early Years Framework which is used across the whole of the UK as a guide to child development.
I am comfortable to talk to parents professional and as a friend when needed, and I love getting to know families on a personal level forming a strong relationship which can make the child feel so much more comfortable. I know how important it is to listen to the child's voice and plan and play around them as that is how the learn best. I am happy to take each day as it comes and work with children to make them the happiest they can be!

In my spare time I enjoy reading, I constantly have a book on the go, a place to let my imagination drift off into and allow myself a break from reality for a little bit. From my love of reading I have become very creative and love using this in my work.
I am also currently training a new addition to my own family, a puppy! a jack Russell pug cross called a Jug named Dollie, this although providing a challenge has been really fun.
Family and friends are so important and I like to make sure I have time to spend with them, whether it be going to the cinema, cooking a nice meal or just relaxing around the house these times are so valuable.
