Alice, garde d’enfant à Coventry

My name is Alice, I am a responsible 22-year-old girl living in Coventry CV5.

I am looking preferably to find a family that I can work for Full-Time, but am also happy to do some Babysitting and Part-time work also.

I love working with children and have done so on and off most of my life. I worked as a Babysitter throughout my teens in the Hertfordshire area and did some babysitting and full time nannying work for the three years I was at University in London and was part of the Network of Recommended Nannies. I have also done voluntary work in schools, worked as a Playworker and was a Youth Leader in Scouting and Guides.

I also have much experience supporting children with special educational needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) in a variety of settings, at St. Mary’s Secondary School I supported the SEND department, supporting children in guided reading, learning to tell the time, provided extra support in lessons and was personal proof-reader to a girl with dyslexia. I have also recently attended the Summer Pilgrimage to Lourdes and supported a number of children with various special educational needs and/or disabilities in any way possible in order to make sure they had the most enjoyable weekend possible, whether that be supporting them in activities, supporting those running the activities and volunteering at the Baths. I have also done some work with the charity Youth CREATE who run drama workshops for SEND children. More personally I have also grown up with and supported a younger brother who has Aspergers and I myself have grown up with Dyspraxia so I also have some first-hand experience.

I am also currently studying a Level 2 in CACHE Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools and have recently completed Level 2 in Supporting Special Educational Needs and a Team Teach qualification.

I am conscientious, reliable, organised, trustworthy and responsible; with a good sense of humour and a caring attitude
