Sharon, garde d’enfant à Darlington

I am a 39 year mother of 2 children aged 16 and 17. I was previously a very successful Childminder but closed the business in November as I wanted to work away from my own home.
I looked after babies, Pre-Schoolers, ran a Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday club.

I completed 2 and a half years of training as a paediatric student nurse in 1994 but did not qualify due to becoming pregnant with my first child.

I have also worked in several private day nurseries and am extremely lucky that I still, after so many years of working with children, enjoy it so much.

I am currently doing an Open University degree in Child Psychology.

As a mother myself, I understand the importance of not only your child being happy and secure in my care, but yourselves as parents too.

I am looking to care for your child/children in your own home for a minimum of 16 hours per week. Preferably fixed days/hours.

I have my own car, a full clean driving licence, clear DBS check and hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

I am available to start work immediately and can get many references if required.
