Zuzana, garde d’enfant à Hoxton

Hello!
I am a psychology graduate with 10 years of childcare experience, including working in a nursery and with children who have special needs. I completed a master's degree in Developmental Psychology, where I learned in-depth about children's development and wellbeing with a large focus on neurodevelopmental conditions. I am also trained in First-Aid and Child Protection and a holder of an enhanced DBS check.

I worked in a nursery with babies, toddlers and children aged 3 months - 5 years. I really enjoyed working with young children, guiding their learning and witnessing their development through interacting with the world and playing with others. I also provided additional support to children with autism, including a boy who was largely nonverbal. I have also worked in a breakfast club, afterschool club, and as a gymnastics trainer and a dance teacher with children of all ages. I also have experience with babysitting and being an au-pair. Over the years, I learned how important it is to adapt to the personality and needs of each child to build a positive and trusting relationship.

I am working in neuroscience research at the moment, but I miss working with children and so I am looking for babysitting or part-time care in the evenings or on the weekends.
