I am a fully qualified nursery nurse/nanny and qualified in 1991.

I have worked in a variety of early years settings and I am qualified to provide a therapeutic play service, which helps the child communicate through art work, music and drama. In relation to this I also hold a professional counselling level 3 qualification, which empowers me to interact positively with children, young people and adults. I feel I can interact and communicate effectively.

I am happy to accommodate a variety of childcare needs from birth to twelve in the family's home.
I am also qualified to work specifically with children who present with challenging behaviours or where there are additional needs using a therapeutic, nurturing approach.

I genuinely enjoy working with children and helping them grow and develop into balanced happy individuals. I have a warm, nurturing personality with a great deal of patience. I enjoy being outdoors and going on day trips and experiencing a variety of activities, as I feel it is important to encourage children to interact and socialise from an early stage.

In my own life I am married with a teenage son of 15 years and the owner of a German Shepherd.
