I have vast experience in early years childcare and a huge amount of qualifications including a degree in learning and development of 0-3's and a BTEC in caring services nursery nursing. I can support children with needs and have run professional sessions for children with speech and language difficulties. I have always worked within a professional environment such as nursery schools and Children's Centres. I have a current enhanced DBS valid within Southwark. I have knowledge and qualification in paediatric first aid. I have been trained in healthy eating so can provide/cook healthy meals. I also have knowledge of food allergies as I have a few myself. I am looking for part time work at the moment and looking to work local and in a new kind of environment to the ones I have been used to. I want to help out families in need and my price is negotiable. I also have a clean full driving licence if needed although I can not offer my own car for this as my car is not practical for work. I have studied French in the past and also taught myself to read and write Hindi whilst travelling abroad.
I am a mature lady with a teenage daughter. I have a gentle, kind nature and am fun to be around. I am able to build good solid relationships with young children and their families and have been trained to run parenting programmes (Carolyn Webster Stratton) which help with managing the behaviour of under 7's in positive ways. I use this within my work practice and am able to share guidance and knowledge of this with struggling parents and carers.
