Hi there.
I am a confident happy and loving nanny. I have recently worked for a professional family looking after their 3 children as a part time after school nanny.
I spent 2 hours a day pre school pick up undertaking general household duties. This included making beds, loading and unloading the dishwasher, laundry, tumble drying, folding and putting away laundry, shopping when necessary, tidying and keeping the house in good tidy order. (The family had a cleaner for heavy clraning)
Once the children had been picked up from school I would help with homework, piano practice overseeing, playing and taking the children to any after school activities that they were involved in. I would give them a meal and make sure the settled before leaving at 6.
I would also bath them if we had tune..
I am 51 and prior to this nanny job I worked as a specialist dental nurse for East Cheshire NHS Trust. This was a service for adults and children with special needs.
Last year, due to cut backs myself and 10 colleagues were made redundant. I was offered a temporary nanny job for 9 months whilst the existing nanny was on maternity leave. This has now come to an end and would like to continue as a nanny.
I was working 20 hours a week Monday to Thursday and would like something with similar hours as I have an elderly mum but I am flexible.
I have 2 grown up boys and although I'm not qualified as a nanny I feel my life experience as a good mum and caring nature would benefit another family needing help.
I have a full clean driving licence and I am first aid trained.
