Hi! My name is Kaci and I'm twenty-six years old. I am currently searching for a permanent part-time childcare position. I'm looking to work with a family in which I can form a strong bond with the child/children, as well as with the family. As a caregiver, I feel it is important to love the child/children that I am caring for as if they were my own family.

I have a big heart and a lot of love to share and I love sharing that with children. I like to have fun with kids but I also know when it is time to be serious and disciplinary. I have a kind and patient demeanor and have experience caring for children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADD/ADHD, Autism and Autism spectrum, and speach and language impairments.

Growing up, my mother operated a home daycare for several years, which I often helped out and worked at. As such, I have experience with all age ranges from babies to pre-teens.

When I was a teenager, I frequently babysat my younger brother as well as the children of my parents' friends and family members. I also worked part-time in the daycare of my neighbourhood gym and training centre.

More recently, I worked for a summer as a full-time nanny for four children between 6 years old and 12 years old. I was responsible for two meals a day, taking the children to their swim lessons, planning activities for the children, and taking to the children to the park and the pool.

Currently, I work two afternoons a week as a caregiver for two boys. I am responsible for picking them up from their daycare, taking them to the park, preparing and feeding them dinner, and bathing them and preparing them for bed, and sometimes putting them to bed.

In my spare time, I love to read, work on sewing and knitting projects, and baking sweets and desserts.
