Sheryl, garde enfant à Paisley PA1

Hi, my name is Sheryl , I am 19 years old from Paisley. I am studing a HNC in Social Sciences & Criminology at Greenock campus at present. I currently work in Marhall Hotel, however looking for a job change due to the location.

I have three younger sisters and one step brother aged between 1-16. As the eldest sibling I have took on a lot of responsibility with my sisters growing up (one in which has ADHD), helping my mum out around the house. When I was 14/15 years old my mum was diagnosed with a mental illness, which required me to help out on the particular days that she wasn't feeling the best. On these days I would get myself and my sisters up for school, dress us and make us all breakfast. I would then walk my two sisters to primary school ensuring they got into their class safely, before I went to school to study for exams I was sitting at the time. This was a lot of responsibility for a 14 year old, however I enjoyed this as it was very natural for me.

Also, in 2013, I studied Sports & Coaching in College, and during this course I had the opportunity to do a six week work experience programme with a primary school as part of their P.E. This consisted of a range of activities that I had to plan out to be assessed on such as football, rounders or a game of the children's choice.
