Hi,

My name is Krista , I just recently graduated from Algoma University with a Psychology Degree - but also decided to chase my dreams of writing and am now doing distance education for a Creative Writing Course. My interest is in writing novels as well as for young children! I was just married this past summer and have a strong Christian background.

I grew up in a household with four sisters, three of which are younger. I was also the neighbourhood babysitter at from the time I was 10 until the time I was 15 (: I have also worked with a young child from my church with down syndrome who was only two years of age - so I am open to working with a variety of children.

Since I was just recently married people continually ask me when I want to have children and I keep telling them not for another few years - but every time I see a little kid in the store I want to take them home with me. Needless to say I LOVE CHILDREN! I can't wait to be a mom but my time for that is not quite yet. Needless to say I would love to be apart of your child's/children's lives.

I will treat them as if they were my very own. I will take them to the park, go sledding with them (in the winter of course), bring them to my house (if you allow that!) to play with my puppy (soon to be dog!), take them out for ice cream, bring them shopping, pick them up from school, play board games, play make believe, read them a story, have them read me a story! - anything! I just love spending time with children and giving them my undivided attention.

To me kids are a pride and joy - they are intelligent and have a love for the world that we adults forget about. To experience children is to experience life and that is simply why I would love to babysit for YOU (:
