Kelly, garde d’enfant - IP31 Great barton

I'm Kelly and I'm a part time student at college studying childcare level 3. Already have a qualification in level 2 childcare learning and development. Meaning can work with children from 0 to 8 years old. I have experience working as a primary school teaching assistance in culford and st edmundsbury primary school and worked in busy bees nursery with the toddler age group 2, 3 and 4 pre school and spent a couple of days in the baby room 6 months old. I've enjoyed looking after children ever since my little sister was born. Taking care of her daily and helping with her routine or cooking dinner in the evenings. Just watching children development is a passion and fascinate me. I'm very caring and gentle towards the children. But also use my intivative and step back in moments. So children are able to become independent. For example, if a child falls over don't rush to pick them up see how they react, ask if their hurt and if they cry, pick the child up boost there positive language reassure their ok, give them a cuddle if needed.
I'm also working a waitress part time on weekend evenings. More than happy to work around this for a family in need. Happy to helping during the summer or evening pick up times.
