Oluwakonyinsola, garde enfant - ME17 Langley

My name is Oluwakonyinsola. I am 16 years old. I am very passionate about the welfare and safety of a child. I know a lot about the care of children as I have looked after young children from extended family members and close friends. I am a very loving, friendly, sensitive, compassionate person who has the ability to relate with people no matter their age, gender, race etc. I am filled with great joy when a child's face lights up with happiness. I have been playing the violin for over seven years now and have taken it really seriously about five years ago. Due to my love for playing the violin, I entered for the music scholarship examinations in my school and won the coveted scholarship, based on my hard work. I was also given free piano lessons. Due to my love of teaching and spreading my positive music knowledge I taught a class of children from age 8 but had to stop early this year due to the beginning of my GCSE preparations. Throughout the years, I have performed in various venues as well. I have written a range of poems and won the ‘Write a Book’ competition back in 2012 against other schools when I lived in Dublin. Writing poetry is a creative release for me; it allows me to express myself.
