My name is Eleanor- children usually call me Ellie. I have been a stay-at-home Mom for 12 years. My children are 11, 10 and 5. In the last two years I ran a small family childcare in our Vancouver home. I cared for children ranging from 6 months to 5 years. This was a great experience. Since moving to Bracebridge, our youngest has begun KG and I am returning to work. My long term goal is to take partime study and return to teaching (elementary). Meantime, I offer nurturing, inspiring, creative, active play with your child in your home or mine with special focus on social and linguistic skills. My personal strengths are relating and teaching and as a caregiver they are at the heart of everything I do.

Our landlord is not giving me permission to open a home childcare. I would love to be employed to nurture and inspire children so I hope to find childcare employment while I part-time study and plan to return to education in the future.
