Rachel, garde enfant - PL24 Par

Hello I am a 45 year old mum of two. My children are now grown up and aged 18 and 21.
I have been a private nanny for many families of children all ages. My main family I worked for had four children. I began working for them when Mum was expecting twin boys and already had two girls aged 2 yrs and 4 yrs old. I was their private nanny for many years even having my daughter and taking her to work with me. I still continued looking after their children when I had my son by becoming a registered Child Minder in my own home. Whilst being registered I had a total of 23 children of all different ages on my books.
I was also the chair person of our local Toddler Group for 3 yrs.

Although I Thoroughly enjoyed my work with children, as my own children and my charges all grew up I found the paperwork involved with being a registered childminder very intense and time consuming and decided to stop.
I worked in a local pub and went on to become the licensee of the pub. After working in the hospitality industry for many years, I have decided I would much rather look after and care for children and now I am desperately looking to get back into child care.

: Attachment in early years 6hr course
: Teaching assistant : support in action 4hr course
: Infant' understanding of their social world 12hr course
: Devon childminding Association foundation course
: Playlines Child protection course
