Hi there,
My name is Sana and I am 16 years old. I have just left high school, and as a result I am available to assist yourself and your family from 9:00 AM till 5:00 PM during both the weekdays and weekends. I am also available during school holidays and these hours will stay the same. I am able to offer this service up until September after which I will have to reassess my availability in order to balance my school and work schedule. I have experience with working with children from birth till the age of 13. I have had previous experience looking after my brothers (a 10 year old and a 12 year old). I also have experience babysitting my nieces from birth till now (5 years old).
With children I am aware from my personal experience that they are easily distracted and can become irritable. Therefore, I will offer several activities depending on the period of time in which I am taking care of your children. Additionally, I also ensure that everyday your children will participate in different activities to ensure they are entertained. For instance some activities would be baking, playing sports, playing board games, visiting the park and feeding ducks. Each of these will benefit your child's physical health, communication and/or confidence.
I am also able to help your children complete any homework they may have and I will always ensure they are the ones who complete it , as many children act lazy when they know that an adult is nearby to do all the work for them. My main priority for your children is to make learning fun, this way they will be able to produce work to an excellent standard whilst also enjoying themselves which is essential.
As a babysitter it is important for myself to be aware of any conditions your child may have whether it is a disability, illness or allergy. I would also benefit from an update in terms of your children's current behaviour before I start working and after I have left so I can identify if there is anything wrong in terms of your children's health and wellbeing.
I also believe that I am an excellent carer and will always put your children's safety first. Ideally I feel comfortable with looking after a maximum of a total of 3-4 children, two of which can be less than 1 years old. After each day I will either leave a diary on the events your children took part in and any concerns I may have or at the end of my shift I may brief you on your children's day.
