Hi! My name is Jessie and I am from Onslow Mtn. I am just completing my first year in a bachelor of arts and social sciences program at Dalhousie University in Halifax, after completion of that I hope to attend another university, which I have not decided on, and obtain my Bachelor of Education and continue on to be a high school english and/or biology teacher. I have been a cheerleader and coach at Truro's local cheer club, Truro Allstar Cheerleading, for about 11 years and recently switched to a higher level team here in Halifax. As you may have noted I am recently living in the city, however will be returning home on April 23 and will be available for work immediately following. In addition to my many years of cheerleading and being a three-time captain of my team, I have been an honours student, obtaining numerous citizenship and leadership awards. I was a part of my high school's Girls Leadership group which involved visiting junior highs and presenting the Dove Beauty Campaign to younger women. Being the oldest child in my family, I've had numerous babysitting jobs on the side, as well as a part-time summer job looking after one of my coaches two children. All of which included cooking, cleaning, and taking the kids to activities. As a coach myself I enjoy children and understand how to deal with any situation that may arise.
