My name is Cherie and I am a mature woman who has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the care profession. I am NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care. I have experience as Level 3 Practitioner in a Nursery and Pre-School Setting , Nursing Auxiliary Level 3 in a Hospital and Hospice setting and Support Worker in Social Work and Probation Service Setting.
Building positive and sensitive relationships with children/adults enabling individual to develop physically, emotionally and socially and supporting them to do so, within in a loving and supportive environment setting achievable expectations and goals using professional knowledge and understanding of the diverse way that we all learn. Setting up of indoor and outdoor activities that provide purposeful, stimulating opportunities taking into account individual abilities, interests and understanding.
Meeting individual physical needs providing healthy meals/snacks encouraging good standards of personal hygiene whilst promoting independence. I have Enhanced CRB. Have excellent understanding of Safeguarding, Health and safety and Confidentiality. I would like to care for children within the home environment in partnership with parents on a full- time basis.
