Nikola, garde d’enfant - SW1X London

My name is Nikola, but my friends called me Niki. I am 23 y.o. from Czech Republic. I am very energetic, creative, optimistic person who loves sport, photography and traveling. I have played volleyball for over 12 years and I got a chance to play in China in 2010. My big passion is taking pictures. I love to travel, learn new culture and try new food. When I lived in Hawaii I totally felt in love with hiking.
I studied pedagogical lyceum in high school where during my study I worked I in a nursery school. I enjoyed to be around kids, taught them new stuff. After my Leaving exam instead of going to university I decided to explore and travel around the world. I was an au pair in London, where I worked for 2 families (first needed me just till Christmas). I have become very close to both families and we have become good friends. In August 2014 my dream came true and I have become an au pair in USA. First year of my US adventure I was in New York where I looked after 3 kids (3, 8 and 10y.o.). I have an awesome relationship with these kids. I tried to keep them busy as much as I could. During their summer vacation I made a project called “Chase a treasure” where each day we explored new country, learnt about it and had activities which represented this country. In my second year I was an au pair in Hawaii where I looked after 2 boys (8 and 10y.o.), who have ADHD.
My friends describe me as happy, talkative, patient person who loves new adventures.
