My name is Alison. I am 34 years old and I enjoy working with children. I have just qualified in a level three diploma in childcare, and I am currently still at college part time furthering my studies in this area.
I currently work in the care industry, but I am keen to progress in the field I wish to work in. I am flexible to do days and evenings, my only unavailability is Tues evening, Wed morning and evening.
I am mainly looking for a nanny/au pair position, but I am also interested in babysitting, care over the holidays, and so on.
I have worked in two nurseries. One was on a voluntary basis for a few months, the other was part of my work placement last year. I have also done placement hours within a primary school. In my spare time I have done babysitting, and I also cared for a friends child during the holidays.
I am reliable, honest, trust-worthy, and very keen to find a family or an establishment to work in to gain more experience and to continue to grow as an individual. I have my own transport, which contains business insurance, and this is very useful.

I would like to earn about the same amount of money for baby-sitting as for part time carer, depending on the circumstances. I feel that I deserve to be paid more than minimum wage, due to my age, life experience and the need to travel to work. However, if I am requested to work late or nights, I would prefer a higher rate. Thank you.
