Jay, jeune fille au pair à Birmingham B16

Hello! I'm jay and I'm 22, to be 23 in October. I have had a years experience as an Au Pair in Oxfordshire before finding a job extremely close to my house in my hometown in Shropshire that was too great of an opportunity not to go for. I had 6months experience supporting 2-3yr olds before moving to our Little Room and supporting 0-2's (May '14-present) where I certainly found my passion for Early Years. I have a brilliant scope of EYFS knowledge, along with lots of experience in planning activities age appropriate whilst also having lots of fun during play and exploring our environment. I have a First Aid certificate along with numerous other certificates under my belt that i'm happy to share with you. I'm very much a happy, easygoing person with a love of watching little people grow and develop into happy, healthy individuals with my support.

I have a hobby of fundraising - for various things. I have been in charge of an area of a christmas fundraiser helping less fortunate people have a lovely Christmas day. I've also volunteered for a respite care facility for terminally ill children. My other passion is craft- making box photo-frames and fabric wooden hearts, with occasionally a handmade card or scrapbook commissioned in!

I am currently doing work experience alongside my full-time job in my own time to gain knowledge of retail, as I feel this is an area i've never experienced but would give me a wealth of knowledge into other sectors if I did, unfortunately, not manage to find a job around Birmingham in Childcare.
