Claire, jeune fille au pair à Bovey tracey

For over five years, I worked for a family in Devon looking after their three children as well as daily household chores. They also had five dogs, two cats, chickens and doves. My duties ranged from picking the children up from school, cooking and babysitting overnight, helping with homework, house sitting while the family were away on holiday or business, answering the phone, sending emails, driving, running errands, doing the laundry, cleaning, feeding and looking after all the animals, dog walking and generally helping in all areas.

I loved interacting with the children; taking them out for dog walks on the moors, playing games indoors if it was raining, or just sitting and chatting.

I consider myself to be a reliable, kind and honest person who loves being around children and animals. I am a people person, who is hard working, dedicated and domesticated!

I am looking for work in Devon, have my own car and would be happy to provide references on request.

Outside of my working life I am a writer. I have a Master of Arts in Professional Writing and am currently writing my first book.
