I’m Phoebe!
I’m from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and of Chinese ethnicity.
My mother tongue is English and I can speak Malay (which is similar to Indonesian) and comprehend Mandarin, Cantonese and Fuchow.
My level of French is at A2.
I’m living in Annecy permanently.
I’m an outgoing and extroverted and I adjust to my surroundings quickly because I was brought up in a multicultural society.
My working experience is in retail management. I was in brand managing in Malaysia for several fast fashion companies from UK and a luxury bag brand from Italy. I was also working for a year in Shanghai with Zara.
I’m now looking for new experiences in my new adopted country in France.
I’ve met many wonderful French friends and expats in Annecy and it has been 3 wonderful years in Annecy! I regularly attend meetups and professional networking groups weekly.
I’m looking forward to working with children so I would have experiences in future as a mother.
I have 2 younger siblings who are 7 years younger than I am and I grew up babysitting them. I also have a 7 year old niece who I babysit from time to time in Kuala Lumpur.
